I’m no expert photographer. I only take snaps using my phone. But what am I going to do with all the content I’ve taken so far? Post it here!
San Marino is the oldest sovereign state. At least it claims to be (So do not come after me if that fact is not factual). I consider it a micro state with about 35,000 people living in it. It’s landlocked within Italy and that’s how I ended up exploring this beautiful place. I took a day trip from Rome, although the best bet would be from Rimini or Bologna.
Here are 5 pictures I took while visiting San Marino:

I have a fascination for flags. And I spent a crazy amount of time waiting for the wind to blow so I can get the flag in its full glory.

I don’t even know what the sculpture is supposed to be, let alone what it represents. But against the backdrop of the sunset and the scattered clouds, the picture is majestic. Even I’m starting to believe I have an eye for a good photo.

The longest existing country being as tiny as San Marino can be a mystery. But once I discovered how uphill and fortified the place was, then a lot of my questions disappeared.

I used to think windows were a big eyesore in photography. After seeing my friend take photos through it, this kind of shot has been a staple of my collection.

The challenge with animals is that they never stay still. And when I capture them at the right moment, especially so near and simply using a phone, I give myself a pat in the back.
All photos were taken on February 2022.
