I’m no authority in what places are the must-dos. But I can tell you which are the ones I went to. I’ll sprinkle in some basic information along the way and tell you about my experience. Your trip will be different than mine. But I thought I’d share what I saw.
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and is home to around one million people. My friend visited the place and told me there was not much to see. I was certain he was wrong.
With my visit, I confirmed my suspicion. ABBA, IKEA, Avicii, and Swedish meatballs – how can this city be anything but perfect?

And now, here are five pictures I took while visiting Stockholm:

One of my biggest mistakes was withdrawing money from the ATM. I knew they weren’t using Euros but I didn’t figure out that any form of physical cash is not welcome.

When the door is open to a labyrinth, I figured it must be legal and can’t be dangerous. I had my doubts during the walk but I am writing this now so I pulled through.

Entering the theater in the Drottningholm felt so surreal. It was like being in The Greatest Showman and the time I spent there was never enough.

There must be Vikings (and remnants there were). Apparently, they didn’t prefer Stockholm (at least that’s what the tour guide told me).

How can I resist entering the first ice bar in the world? Let me just say that my need for alcohol outweighs the fear of chills.
All photos were taken on April 2022.
